A veterinarian clinic in Tennessee is going viral for its videos of clinic staff impersonating different dog breeds, reports the Miami Herald.
The videos, posted on TikTok, are titled “If Animals Were Humans at the Doctor”, and are coming from GoodVets at the Gulch in Nashville, posted under @drmollysays. Dr. Molly Brinkmann is an associate veterinarian at the clinic and the star of the fantastic shorts.
A Star Is Born
The videos have already garnered millions of views and people are totally impressed by the spot-on impersonations. From Labradors to Chihuahuas, these clips are touching home with dog parents everywhere.
According to the comments, the videos do a great job of showing the special quirks that define certain breeds. For example, the Chihuahua video starts with Dr. Brinkmann walking into the clinic and immediately picking a fight with somebody else in the waiting area. One person commented, “Why is this so accurate??”
However, not everyone agrees that the vet’s impressions are up to snuff. GBabeey writes, “Not my baby Ivy. She is literally the sweetest Chihuahua.”
Another clip shows a nervous Husky struggling during a checkup. Dr. Brinkmann captures the anxious sitting and standing and even the screaming howls that the breed is notorious for. One Husky parent commented, “If there wasn’t a scream it’s not a Husky! Well done!”
Fans From Dog Parents to Vets
On top of that, the videos are not only attracting dog parents but other people who work with dogs. It seems that lots of folks in the industry relate to the experience of interacting with so many unique dog personalities. Another viewer stated, “I practiced as a vet tech a few years ago. So accurate!”
Dr. Molly is also expanding her repertoire of animals. In one video, she does a scandalous impression of the—according to one commenter—“universally flirtatious” male orange cat.
Hopefully, the team at GoodVets will keep impersonating different dog breeds and posting these videos. As of now, they can all be watched as a series on the social media app. We can’t wait to see their Dachshund impression.
